Wind River Linux LTS: Modifying the Linux Kernel Packages
Add and update your application to the kernel using packages.
Applications are added to the platform project using packages. Here the ability of managing packages at both build and run time are both demonstrated. Packages can be modified and exported in a number of ways, the use of patching is one. The use of devtool is shown to integrate packages generated by the Autotools process or a makefile. The lab solution is supplied for writing a recipe.
