COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Wind River® Cloud Platform Administration Essentials course provides engineers and system administrators with a fast, cost-effective way to acquire the necessary skills to master daily management and operation tasks when using Wind River Cloud Platform, from its initial deployment to day two operations, in a use case-driven approach. Each use case consists of technical overviews and lab procedures.

After this course, participants will be able to perform the following:

• Perform daily cluster operation and management tasks
• Manage cluster deployment
• Deploy software updates
• Modify platform configurations
• Examine operation logs and monitor a system

• This four-day expert-led course consists of lectures and lab sessions.
• Attendees use Cloud Platform to gain experience with the topics presented.
• Participants receive individual guidance from an expert engineer who has extensive experience with Wind River technologies.

Prerequisite Skills

• Familiarity using the Linux OS and its CLI (available from third-party resources such as the Linux Foundation)
• An understanding of networking fundamentals (Ethernet, switching, and routing)
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of virtualization, containers, and Kubernetes orchestration (available from third-party resources such as the Linux Foundation)
